Welcome! You’ve arrived in Savannah, the Hostess City of the South and you are ready to go. Now what? Planning what to do during your vacation can be confusing. Where should you visit first? When getting ready to start your day in Savannah there are a few things you should remember. The first is to wear comfortable shoes. In downtown Savannah the best way to get around is on your own two feet. The city was made for walking, as you’ll soon discover. You also want to give some thought to the weather. During the summer it can get mighty hot so remember to wear light, breathable clothing. Also, don’t forget to apply sunscreen. Even if you’re just walking around, you can easily wind up with a sunburn.
