Everything from the Atlantic Octopus to the turtle crossing room awaits you at the Tybee Island Marine Science Center. You also want to be sure and visit the Tybee Island Lightstation and Museum. Near Tybee Island’s North Beach, this lighthouse is over 270 years old and is known as one of North America’s most beautifully renovated lightstations. Though the tours are self-guided, the lighthouse keeper and his staff are available for any questions you may have.
