looks like it’s this one.  I haven’t been downtown lately to see it, I’m surprised they managed to squeeze another hotel in there on Bay Street.

So many favorites on Tybee Island, it’s hard to pick out one or two. So I’ll go back to my first trip to Tybee to begin.  It was February, 2003. My wife and I were trying to find some place to celebrate our first anniversary and she somehow discovered Tybee Island on the internet. I had to work the night before so we left WV around 2am and drove all night. Not knowing the quickest routes yet, we went in to Savannah that morning and she found a farmer’s market where we bought some great strawberries. My first experience with food on Tybee Ilsand was at Cousin Vinny’s Pizza! We were just exploring the Island and I was hungry. Rather than going to one of the great seafood places, we thought we’d get a quick slice to hold us till dinner time. Now I know they say everything tastes better at the beach, but you could put Cousin Vinny’s Pizza anywhere in the world and it would hold it’s own! Now it’s a Tybee tradition, we come down, we have to get Cousin Vinny’s Pizza at least once while we’re there! Keep up the good work Cousin Vinny’s and we’ll see you next trip there!

Pizza schmeeza!  I’m coming to Tybee Island for two months and plan on eating nothing but sea food for the entire two months.  First thing I will look for is an oyster roast.
