AJ's Dockside on Tybee Island
43211

This is a nice place to go if you are out-N-about on Tybee. It is located right on the river with inside or outsite seating. There is live music there on occasion.

Fannies on the Beach
21321

Our service was fine at Fannies this weekend, but it went downhill from there! Our order took way too long to arrive, and when it did part of the orders were cold. One order had been sitting up so long the bun was soggy and more fries had to be ordered! I can not recommend this place.

The Breakfast Club

You always drive by The Breakfast Club on Tybee and see a line of people out the door, but don't let that intimidate you. It goes REALLY fast and the food is WELL worth the wait!

It’s Hot

By: Rebecca Fuller

. . real hot.  Unfortunately for Savannah locals and those brave but very dedicated tourists, it’s only June.  That means, well, we are not even close to the worst of it or what we call here in Savannah, August.  Where I am originally from (I moved to Savannah seven years ago), New Jersey, August was a welcome month aside from the fact that there are no federal holidays so you were sure to be working every Monday.  August meant you could go in the water at the Jersey shore without inducing hypothermia and you didn’t have to make sure you had a sweater with you at night.

It’s a Big Ocean Out There…

Think the Savannah Film Festival is the only film festival that comes to town? Wrong! Savannah, GA recently beat out Boston, MA as hostess for the 2009 Blue Ocean Film Festival. This is due not only to the city of Savannah’s great layout, perfect for festivals, but also to our close proximity to Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary, which is host sponsor of the festival. The Blue Ocean Film Festival showcases the world’s greatest collection of ocean films and ocean filmmakers. Throw in workshops, panel discussions, photography, receptions, award ceremonies, parties and more and you have the makings for a superb festival!
