Rushelle is a great host, the Bean is a great location and they are always welcoming new artists to step up on stage and show what they've got--not to mention, they always have great visiting poets taking the stage! I spoke last night and...

Good food for sure, if a little expensive (but I suppose it's for a good cause :) ). They've got a stage set up with instruments but I'm not sure when they are having performances.

Forget the Super Bowl, it's time for Super Museum Sunday! So, call me a nerd, but I'm way more excited about going to the Juliette Gordon-Low birthplace on February 7th than watching the Saints play the Colts. I am a complete geek. I know this. But, really folks? I've lived in Savannah for seven years and I still haven't gotten a chance to see all the great historic homes and beautiful museums that Savannah has to offer. The prospect of finally seeing the garden at the Harper Fowlkes House (site of many night shots from Robert Redford's The Conspirator) is thrilling to me. But what is Super Museum Sunday, you ask?

Okay, if you aren’t following us on Twitter or Facebook, you need to—why? Because yesterday our followers got live updates of my awesome trip to Fort Pulaski! (Don't forget to check out my previous article on Fort Pulaski here.) I had a great time—I saw The Conspirator being filmed, the weather was gorgeous, Fort Pulaski was fascinating and I stood ten feet away from Robert Redford right before I left. (Just in case you were wondering, he's still handsome.) Best day ever!
